本次展覽精選多件來自貝寧的經典，是權力與神聖性的象徵 - 銅豹雕像如同守護家族般的存在著、銅豹水器以獨特動態感詮釋著擁有者的非凡、銅豹腰飾象徵著與王者氣息的連結，展現非洲貝寧藝術的輝煌成就。


在貝寧王國，豹與奧巴（國王）密切相關，人們認為國王是權力和優雅的體現。青銅豹雕塑裝飾著皇家宮廷，象徵統治者對自然和人民的統治地位。


豹的影響不僅停留於歷史，更貫穿於現代藝術與精品文化之中。 在時尚界，豹亦是皇室珠寶傳奇的重要篇章。溫莎公爵夫人（Wallis Simpson） 對卡地亞獵豹珠寶情有獨鍾，其最具代表性的卡地亞獵豹胸針誕生於1948年，由黃K金、藍寶石與黑漆點綴而成，展現出獵豹矯健而優雅的姿態。她的收藏與品味，不僅奠定了Cartier「Panthère」系列的經典地位，更使獵豹成為女性獨立與貴族氣質的象徵。

In the Kingdom of Benin, leopards are closely associated with the Oba (king), who is regarded as the embodiment of power and grace. Bronze leopard sculptures adorned the royal palace, symbolizing the ruler’s dominion over both nature and his people.

The influence of leopards extends beyond history, permeating modern art and luxury culture.

In the fashion world, leopards play a significant role in the legacy of royal jewelry. Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor, had an enduring fascination with Cartier’s panther-themed jewelry. One of the most iconic pieces, the Cartier Panthère brooch, was created in 1948 from yellow gold, sapphires, and black lacquer, capturing the panther’s sleek and elegant form. Her exquisite collection and refined taste cemented the status of Cartier’s "Panthère" collection as a timeless classic, transforming the panther into a symbol of female independence and aristocratic sophistication.
